You usually don't pay a monthly premium for Part A coverage if you or your spouse paid Medicare taxes while working for a certain amount of time. This is sometimes called premium-free Part A (if you worked 40 quarters). If you aren't eligible for premium-free Part A, you may be able to buy Part A.
My suggestion to you - Ask Social Security Administration for details regarding YOUR eligibility and costs. You can do this in person at a local Social Security office or by telephone. (Additional information can be found in the reference section.)

The costs for Medicare Advantage plans will vary depending upon the plan offered by the service area which you live. These plans may offer different:
Stand Alone Prescription Drug plans are offered by the service area where you reside. These plans are offered by multiple insurance carriers and may vary in monthly premium cost, drug cost and formularies.
